The new console NBA 2K22 has new quests as well as NBA 2K22 MT activities and an increase in non-playable characters. The game also contains the WNBA and WNBA, which aren't available in the previous version. The primary area of game is the City.
In the City Players can try to enhance their crib and, ultimately, earn enough MVP points to get access to the penthouse. Other rewards are associated with this achievement and there are many ways to earn points to unlock these rewards.
Since the City is exclusive to consoles with the next generation the penthouse is able to only be unlocked on the PS5 as well as Xbox Series X versions. To unlock the penthouse apartments, players have to complete tasks that will award MVP points. The total amount of one million MVP points is needed to be able to complete the MVP task of the City challenge.
Every quest that is completed rewards players with points, but the number of MVP points earned will vary for each quest. The players can track their progress by going to the quest menu and checking in the City MVP section. Earning MVP points in NBA 2K22 is fairly easy. Every single thing players do including advancing through the MyCareer mode to strutting through the runway, will earn them points.
Certain tasks, however, offer a higher point reward than others. For instance, completing NBA Career Points: 5 (under the City MVP quests) will award players 100,000 points, and completion of the Personal brand: Free Spirit nine quest will earn the player 50,000 points. Other tasks, such as taking on the Music Scene: Marvin's Room side-quest or deciding whether to NBA MT Coins go to College and G-League, earn fewer number of points (1,000 one point).
